Head of Marketing for Sustainable Start-up

CoBenefit offers cities and municipalities an online platform to make sustainable offers accessible to their citizens. In our efforts for more sustainability, our focus lies on the energy-related renovation and modernisation of houses.
With the Green Finance Institute and 16 other companies, we aim to realise pilot projects in the UK in the coming months. Besides, we work in close collaboration with the EU Stronghouse Project and are planning research-focussed pilots with the University of Vechta in Germany. Besides Germany and the UK, the Netherlands are an important target market for us.
Our vision is to build a high growth company, offering sustainable solutions to citizens and municipalities across Europe and beyond. Right now, we are looking for our first customers to build a foundation of experience and credibility for our future growth.

What are we looking for?
We are looking for a recent university graduate with a strong drive for our sustainable vision. Our new colleague should be a creative thinker and bring in a new perspective that moves us forward as a company. Furthermore, a hands-on mentality is necessary to secure collaborations with municipalities and organisations across Europe. Besides, you will be responsible for sharing our story on social networks to build brand awareness.
We are a small team with a focus on individual responsibility and rapid development. If you are a self-motivated and highly ambitious up-and-coming marketing professional, we want to talk to you. Please note that a compensation is only possible once we have secured our first revenue (expected within three to four months).
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing marketing strategies
- Helping to articulate our offer in written form for different stakeholders
- Creating content for social channels
- Reaching out to potential partners and customers across Europe
- Key account management
Skills & Requirements
We are looking for someone with:
- Degree in marketing or a related field
- Excellent communication skills
- True team player mentality
- Sense of individual responsibility and self-learning dedication
- Ability to think out of the box with a very hands-on approach
- Fluency in both German and English
Preferred qualifications (not compulsory):
- Experience in working with Adobe Illustrator
- E-commerce experience
- Experienced in social media management
- Sales experience
