What is a solar energy system?
In photovoltaic systems, light from the sun is converted into domestic electricity through solar panels and inverters. In contrast, solar heating system transfers the sunlight into domestic heat. From an economic point of view, three criteria are key: self-consumption, the size and adjustment of the system. To be able to use as much of the generated electricity as possible yourself, a system that includes an energy storage should be considered. At present, you receive compensation for surplus electricity supplied to the grid in accordance with the Renewable Energy Sources Act (EEG).
